Medical & Emergency Response Team is a charity set up to help save lives, provide medical and first aid assistance, provide support to agencies or organisations with a responsibility for public safety, welfare, emergency response, recovery and resilience, and to provide the advancement of education through the delivery of courses in casualty care, and health, safety and welfare. In the course of such activities, information may be required to be recorded on individuals. This privacy notice tells you what to expect us to do with your personal information.

As a charity providing medical cover and emergency response, we collect or use the following information to provide services, including delivery:
· Names and contact details
· Addresses
· Date of birth
· Emergency Contact details
· Ethnicity
· GP details
· Health and medical information. In addition to the above you may be asked if you have any medical conditions and/or any medications (both prescription and over the counter) that you take on a regular basis. This is to ensure that all information is available of any conditions that may impact their assessment of you and ensure that the treatment provided is in line with best practice. This information can only be provided by yourself (parent/guardian), we do not access any NHS information.
